Default Should I replace both back tires at the same time?

Soooooo,

I got a flat tire on my stock left rear GY runflat tire. I took it to the dealership and they have offered to replace the tire under warranty.

I have about 4200 miles on these tires with average wear maybe 5/32's left.

My question is should I just go ahead and have them order 2 new tires instead of 1 and replace both?

Thanks!

I say replace both...When my '01 coupe had about 3000 miles on it, I ran over some debris, and cut one of the rear tires. I replaced only one, with a similar GY run-flat. Problem was, the OE GYs wore at a quicker rate that the replacement tire, and in time, my posi unit wasn't happy with the difference in circumferences of the 2 tires.

Hmmmm, go figure, the dealer is actually trying to talk me out of replacing both.

It's the the driver side rear tire. The resident corvette expert at the dealership told me unless I have money to burn there is no reason to replace both rears.
