What hooks better BFG TA KDs or Nitto DRs

A couple people here have said BFG TA KDs hook almost as well as BFG DRs. I've heard BFGs are better than Nittos, so maybe TA KDs hook as well Nittos.

How much power are you making? By the sounds of it, I'm guessing alot. I have the BFG TA KD's on my car and once the RPM's get to about 2000, they just melt. I think on a stock car, they'd be alright as a drag tire, but add a good amount of power and torque and they're just like any other tire.

I am doing a 396 with solid roller cam. We're expecting at least 475 rwhp. Here's a link to the thread were I describe the rebuild:
