Help**backspacing question** C4/C5

I am looking at a set of 18x9.5 and 18x11 rims with the correct backspacing for a C5. Will this backspacing fit on a C4(1991). Not sure what the difference is if any between the two cars. I know you can run the stock C5 wheels on a C4 but will these work??
