Default SEC Wheels ... anyone heard of 'em?

Hey guys,

I just bought an unknown set of wheels from a fellow forum member, and I'm trying to find out more about them. From markings on the back (shown below), I think the manufacturer is SEC, but I can't find any info on them other than a phone number that doesn't work.

The info I have on the wheels:
17x11
3-piece
Basketweave
20.0 lbs

Googling "SEC wheels" only got me THIS, and calling that number didn't get an answer

Pics, if they help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's easy!!!

"SEC" stands for Senter Engineering Company. These were the forerunners of the early CCWs, as the owner of CCW bought the rights, inventory and tooling from SEC. The first set of CCWs I bought about 10 years ago were the same style pictured, and the center caps had the "SEC" logo.

So I have CCWs? Awesome! I was just amazed that I got these for $175 shipped, and they weigh 20 lbs each. Thanks.

Yup, and if you need any "service" such as a re-polish, or shell replacement, CCW still can do it for you.

Whoa, is it just me or is the bottom edge of the rim in that first picture seriously warped / damaged, or is it just the picture?

That said.... CCW's for $175 is beyond a steal, even if they need some repairs.

It does look a little damaged to me too, now that you mention it. However, CCW can replace the outer shell with a bright, shiny new one for about $150...
