Default Other than looks (C5), why not keep 18" all around?

I can understand the reasoning because of the looks, but is there any other reason no one (or very few people) runs 18" wheels on all four corners on a C5? I'm looking at tire prices being a big deciding factor in this. 18" tire are much cheaper overall than going with 19's. I'd also like to keep the option of running a DR, and I don't think anyone makes them in 19". Someone help me out here.

Just go with the 18's all around. They will be fine and look good too. Just be sure to stagger the wheel sizes properly.

If I go with 18" all around it would probably be 18x11 and 18x9.5.

That's good. Just make sure the wheel diameter is at least a half inch bigger in the rear, otherwise the traction control will come on.

I run 18s all around on my C5. Click my avatar and then select the option to go to my homepage here at CF. Scroll down to the mods section to see excat tire and wheel sizes

Oops, my bad. Thanks for the correction. I meant stagger the TIRE diameter.. The fronts should be at least a half inch less than the rears to keep the traction control from coming on.

That should be fine. I have a few buddies that ran that set up without issue. I have 315/30's all around on stock 18x10.5's with no issues yet.
