Need C6 wheel size advise

I tried this one in the C6 Tech section and didn't get any response. I need help with a wheel/tire decision. My 08 base vert is in need of some new tires. If I stay with the stock 18/19 sizes I can only afford the tires. But if I go to an 18 back rim I can go with less expensive tires and manage to get a new set of rims also. So here's the question, will 18 X 9.5 C5 rear wheels with 285/35 18s fit without sticking out? If 285s will stick out I could go with 275/40s which are app 1/2" narrower.

I am running C-5 polished thin spokes (rears 18x 9.5) on my C-6 Vert all around.

Front size is 275x35x18 (stock C-6 Z06 front)

Rear size is 275x40x18 (stock C-5 rear.)

I run the 275 on the rear as opposed to the 285 because I wanted to run the Michelin Pilot Sport ZP (run flats).

I do not think the 285's on the rear will stick out at all.
