Default Dremel vs. PowerBall

Posted in the car care section but thought I might get a good response in here as well.

I have LG Motorsport World Challenge wheels, they are powdercoated in the center with a unclear coated polished alum. lip. I generally keep them clean using Mother's Alum. polish on the lip by hand, but I'm wanting to really shine them up.

I know they aren't going to shine up like chrome or stainless, but they are looking a bit milky these days, sorta hazy, even when I polish them by hand. The polishing does clean them and give them some luster, but not that shine like new.

I'm thinking of getting a Dremel kit and using that on the lip, or perhaps the Mother's Mini PowerBall for the cordless drill...

Also, what about using something like a mushroom buff in a drill rather than the PowerBall:

Thoughts? Suggestions? thanks!

Make sure you are using Mothers Billit and not the regular Mothers Mag/Aluminum polish. That alone will make a world of difference. I just used a microfiber towel and it worked great. The only thing I'd use the mini powerball on is the inner barrel. For me, it was too big to neatly do just the lip.

just FYI, Mothers has a Powercone as well now, as the name says cone-shaped so easier to get into the smaller areas.
I used that on my CCWs and it worked great !
Advance Auto Parts even had them on sale a couple of weeks ago, I believe $19...
