Default ? For the Tire Rack - Tire Options for Track Days

If I am trying to stay with my stock rims, which is the better option if I need to drive to the track ( ie no trailer to preserve the victoracers). I am locked in with the rears due to sizing.
ECSTA 712's
Rear: 275/35-18 will match up best with which:
Front 245/45-17 or
240/45-17 or
255/40-17

Am I better off staying with a front 45 series tire to maintain sidewall width, or should I try and match up front/rear diameter/revs per mile ratio's?

Option 2

Get a tire trailer and go with Victoracers V700 and run 17's front & rear
Front 245/45-17
Rear 275/40-17

Thanks for your help.
