What problems can I anticipate when moving the tire pressure sensors from the original sawblade wheels to the new Gran Sport wheels? Should I replace the sensors and the attaching band that goes around the wheel? I there any re-programming I have to do to the car's computer system?
I haven't made up my mind on what type of tires to go with yet, but they will NOT be the run-flat type that is currently on the car now(original factory tires). Any suggestions on tire type and manufacturer? I'm looking at Michelin, Perellis (sp?) or Kuhmos.
Thanks for any info. you folks could offer.

The tire pressure sensors from the OEM wheels should fit the new wheels......"should" is the operative word....you'll have to check it out. If they do fit & if you're careful to label which corner the sensors came off of & be sure to mount then to the new wheels going to the same corner, you won't have any problems & won't have to do any re-programming. If, for whatever reason, you have to replace the sensors, you will have to have them programmed to the on-board control module. I know on C6's that process needs a Dealer tool....not sure about C5's....check your OM.
