I got distracted by some kids while parking my Vette and lightly curb rashed about 8 inches of my right front HRE. I wasn't very happy with myself.
I took off the wheel and used a dremel with a round 240 grit sander and lightly took off the scratches. Then hand sanded with wet emery paper then used the buffer on the dremel to finish it off. It took about three hours of time and it looks as good as new. This is the one time I am glad I didn't buy clear coated wheels.
