Painting wheels?

I am about to purchase a c6 has everything i want but the grey wheels, comes with the standard ones, thinking about either having them powdercoated black, but then wont be able to drive for a week or 2, or painting them black. my question when painting them, what all is needed in terms of prep, and what kind of paint?

I had good success with painting my OEM Z06 (c5) with hi-temp caliper spray can. I roughed up the surface with scotch brite pad, put a coat of caliper primer, then flat black caliper coat. After several track events, the paint looks just fine. Powdercoating does affect the wheel's metallurgy to some extent because of the baking at hi temp. Some say not enough to worry, others say ANY negative effect is too much...YMMV.
