I bought my baby used with 3K miles on her in Oct. and the only reference to tire warranty I can find in my vehicle says it covers defects but not wear and tear and punctures. Elsewhere on this forum folks have said that punctures are covered under warranty and I won't have to pay a dime to have the tire repaired (or replaced if necessary).
I went to the local Goodyear dealer that is qualified to repair runflats and they said they could fix it no problem but aren't aware of any warranties that would cover such a service - unless of course I had previously bought a warranty from them in the past covering such items.
I could use some advice as to whether or not it's covered and if so, how do I provide evidence. The tire folks said they have no problem fixing it under warranty but they aren't aware of such a warranty and have asked me to show them what I have that covers it so they're covered. I can't find anything!!!
Your advice is much appreciated.
type to you later....

The stock Goodyears come with a road hazard warranty. You should have the paperwork in with your owner's manual and other paperwork that you should have gotten when you bought the car.
I'm not looking at mine right now, but as I recall, you have to go to certain Goodyear dealers and they will repair/replace a tire during the first year and pro-rate the repair/replacement after that.
I had a nail in one of my tires about 9 months ago and took it my local Discount Tire and they repaired it for free - absolutely no questions asked, no warranty needed.
