Default Hoosier leading around bead

That should be "leaking" not "leading"

I bought a pair of used Hoosier R6s and had Discount Tire mount them on new aftermarket Z06 wheels. One tire is leaking around the bead (about 1/3 of the bead on one side). It totally leaks down overnight. The other one is holding air fine.

I took the one back and they said they tried "all their tricks" but it is still leaking around the bead on one side.

WTF? Should I take it to another tire store and let them try?

I don't want to take it to the track and have it leaking . They said maybe heat cycling may get it to seat.

Break the bead and put a thin film of RTV arount it, then reinflate. I used to have to do that on my oval track car that used lightweight steel rims. The beads were hard to keep true, and we used RTV to seal the small inconsistencies.
