Painting C6 Rims

Hello, I'm planning to paint my stock C6 aluminum rims to a dark charcoal grey from the spray can. I am only planning to keep these rims for approximately a year at most so long term appearance is not a concern. Does anyone have a process for painting rims or any pointers?
