1. There are companies out there that make a thin spoke to bolt straight on to my car, but they are 8.5 inch rather than 9.5 like the later model c4's. Do you think that this would make a difference in how it looks on the car.
2. Would it be better to go with these direct bolt ons rather than using adapters and getting wider wheels?
3. The original c5's had 17's in front and 18's in back. If I bought original ones and went with spacers, how would the two different sizes look on the c4? Is it noticeable? Does is handle differently?
4. If I am not mistaken, the originals are also 8.5 in front and 9.5 in back. In your opinion, would it be better just to go for replicas and get 9.5 in front and 10.5 or 11 in back? With the adapters--can you go 11 on the rear and keep it inside the wheel well on the 86?
Thanks a bunch. Love to hear all of your opinions on this one. My tires are basically shot and so I will need to replace everything one of these days soon.
Edit: I forgot one thing--can you run ones with a 38mm off set on the front without adapters and then run 56mm or whatever with adapters on the back? Can you tell? Does it affect anything at all?
