I have a set on my car........I've drag raced with them......incredible traction. I've done three HPDE's with them, very impressed. I've also pushed it a bit in the rain and these things can channel water like nobody's business. They are on the same level as the Khumo's but these tires have a larger footprint due to the larger shoulder which equates to 20% more rubber on the ground, which equals better traction and cornering..........

Check out these sites......

Where to order them.......

Vredesstein all the way... Best tires I have had..
up over 140, they are still insane on traction.. I was amazed....

http://www.fquick.com/garages/Chevro...aro/2002/9352/

they are great tires.... go withthem...
AND YES TO peeps who are gonna be like.. They sent me all the same tire... Well vredesstein designed them that way.. So there is no left and right..... LOL

some peeps feel they are getting shipped all the same tire.... whatever. just mount them and see...

Looking at them, I thought they were directional, but when ordering them I was told the same.

I have them on my ZR-1..great tire..the foot print is not as wide as the GY due to a rounder shoulder...

Just ordered a set of ZR 275's & 295's for $660 from the flee bay store on a best offer deal. It's an experiment so we'll see how they do. I'll put GSD3's on if these don't work out. Soo long to the Run-Craps !

So here is the VERDICT on them at the track....
Remember my car is all stock. LOL...
I went up against my buddy running a Shelby CSX shadow.
25 PSI boost on the turbo, racing slicks in the front. Hurst shifter on a 3 speed slap shift auto/manual transmission.
Me, bone stock z28. other buddy bone stock corvette. both got beat.
I listened to some guys to drop my tire pressure. So first run, dropped tire pressure to 25 PSI.... didnt hook that good.
next run 20PSI... even worse, slower time from having to let up to grip down. another run not on video, 31 PSI hooked fine... no problems...
This tire is meant to run on full tire pressure.. I did not find any advantage to dropping tire pressure.. basically made me not hook.
here is the video for anyone interested... you can see how much I had to let off to hook. On both runs......
Still feel like its a great tire.... This was 1/8 mile track.. 1/4 mile track on the 7th of oct... Hopefully I will have my N2O in by then..

I figured I'd jump on the band-wagon and try these tires out as well.
I should have them towards the end of the week and hopefully installed next weeked, as long as I finish my rims.
