Default NE1 Ever Paint CCW Classic Centers?

My centers are black but are also starting to get dull. Just wondering if anyone ever painted their centers?

My car is QS. ALmost curious to know how the wheels would look with the centers painted QS.

Do you mean you have the "black anodized" centers? They can be powdercoated. At one time, I had a set that were black powder coated. They looked really good, however my car is black......

Yes, centers are black anodized but are starting to fade. I heard from John and he said you can paints them using spray paint and they will look great.

Thinking about maybe even doing QS and see how it would look.

Per John:
duplicolor flat black will make them look like new, take the centers out and run them through the dishwasher first

John at CCW does NOT recommend powdercoating the centers. BTW, I think the silver centers would look great. A charcoal metallic would look good, too.

Probably because it can be tricky to do, and get an acceptable finish. He had a powder coater in his area do mine, and they had to do 6 centers in order to get 4 good ones. I assume that the powder can "run" like paint, unless its applied "just right". And, unlike paint, you can't just hit it with stripper and try again....
