Default Wear Rating Numbers can someone explain/teach?

Hi,

There was an announcement that Yokohoma Runflats are now available.

Their wear rating is 180.

Firestone RF wear rating is 340. (?)

Goodyear RFT is xxx (?)

I got about 25K miles out of my Goodyears street only.

What kind of mileage should I expect with a 180 wear rating?

Does anyone recall that Acura NSX owners complained about the wear of their tires and received free tire certificates. These Yokohomas went an average of 5000 easy miles before wearing out I recall.

What was the NSX Yokohoma wear rating?

Well, kind of an open ended question...I m just looking from some knowledge from my fellow co-members.

Kenny
