Default Another tire/wheel question

2001 MN6 Coupe---

I am thinking about getting some cheaper wheels (I can't afford to spend alot right now). (Ruff Racing 278 Hyperblack)

Is there any issue of running 19" wheels all around? I searched the forum and see alot are running 19" or 20" with no issues. Is this a correct assumption? Or should I run 19x9.5 rear and 18x8.5 front?

Also, the wheels are not as wide as I would like them to be but for the price I can over look. I have choices of 19x9.5 and 19x8.5. I was thinking of running the 19x9.5 in the rear and 19x8.5 in front or should I run the 9.5 width all around?

Lastly, what would be the best sizes to run for these wheels? What are the largest sizes I can get on these wheels?

18x8.5 - front
19x8.5 - front
19x9.5 - rear

Thanks for any insight

Mike

19" all around is fine, just make sure when you buy tires the diameter of the front is between 1/2"-1" less than the rear. Most stagger the wheel size for looks, that is why the factory did it. I would go with 9.5 all around, I run that as my front and 11.5 on the rear. a 285/30/19 in rear, and 265/35/18 front or close would be fine. You could also do 285 all around, but bigger fronts are not really needed on the street.

Thanks,

got 19" x 9.5 45mm offset all around, should be here Thursday

Would I have problems running the BFG KDW2's

Front - 265/30 ZR19 - Rim width range 9-10" Overall Diameter 25.4"
Rear - 295/35 ZR19 - Rim width range 10-11.5" Overall Diameter 27"

Or should I go with the 255/35/19 for the fronts?

Is 265 too wide? I don't want to worry about rubbing

I want to order these tonight so I can get them mounted this weekend

Thanks,

Mike
