Default TPM Alarms on new Kumho MX

Got 2004 C5 back yesterday after getting new set of Kumho MX installed. Today the TPM started alarming that tire pressure was to high. Does TPM have an upper limit set for tire pressure or does the upper threshold change when TPM is reset?

Yes it does have an alarm. Pressure should be 30lbs cold.

I would be willing to bet that the shop looked at the sidewall of the tire where is says "maximum inflation pressure 51 psi" and set the pressure at 51 psi .....

lower the pressure and you should be fine

Shop guy set them to 43. I found out the following thresholds exist inthe DIC for TPM:
<5 psi - Flat Tire warning message is displayed
5-25 psi - Low Tire warning message is displayed
26-42 psi - normal condition,no messages
>42 psi - High Tire warning message is displayed

I am trying to find out if the thresholds can be adjusted up, and also what an optimal PSI for road versus track is.
