I'm pretty much a daily driver who occasionally opens it up, but no track time - I'd rather have treadlife & all-weather capability over supertraction & rapid wear. Also, I understand that the 'aggressive alignment' on the Z51 that causes the premature inner front wear can be taken out... do you recommend this, or know if any warranty issues that it may create?

I'm not Luke, but negative camber and some toe are what tore up you Goodyears.
Go to a good alignmnet shop (one that really knows Corvettes) and have them set it up with a street setting... If it is anything like my C5, you want about -0.18º of camber front and rear along with 0 to 1/32" of toe.
Your C6 will still handle great, but you won't burn down the inner edges of your tires prematurely, be them Goodyears or anything else in an EMT.
Alignment changes will not void the factory warranty. If anything, once you get your new alignment printout (with the original settings on it as well), you will find out how sloppy BG was when they built your C6.
