wheel / tire fit?

Going to buy an extra set of rears. Was going to buy 18x10.5 probably C5 Zo6 Motorsports. Will the BFG drag radial in the 315/30 18 fit this size wheel?

while you could physically get it on the wheel any benefit of the added width would be lost due to the narrow wheel

11" is pretty much the minimum for full contact area on a 315. I just changed my 335s Nitto Drags to 305 Nitto RIIs for this same reason(and to get away from the drag tire) on my 11.5" CCWs. The Nittos run large and it is closer to a 315. Ivan, you probably remember my car from the Vette show at Summit(Yellow Mallett vert), the sidewall had a pretty good buldge and I was loosing about 1" contact area on each edge of the tire(plus I never liked the look).
