Default FS: DPE R05 Variant S Wheels (18x9 & 19x10)

I am selling my previous set of wheels that I got this past December. I love these wheels, but they were not designed to work with the factory TPS without modifications (mounting/banding the TPS and so forth). After giving up on trying to get them to work with the TPS, I decided to get a different set of wheels that accept the factory TPS without any mods.

Like I said, I've had these wheels since December 2006, and probably put around 2K miles on them before putting the new ones on. They are in good shape, but there are a few scuffs on them from normal wear, nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that would prevent anyone from enjoying them. Just be warned, you will have to either not care about the factory TPS or have experience with mounting/banding/cutting whatever to make them work in aftermarket wheels. I unfortunately did not, and nobody around here has either.

Again, these are DPE R05 Variant S wheels, size 18x9 and 19x10. They are polished with Phantom Black (gloss) powdercoat. The fronts have shorter stems in them to clear the base C6 brakes. If you have the bigger Z51 brakes, you'll probably need hideaways. In fact, would probably need to check with DPE if these wheels are setup to work with the Z51 or not, as I don't have the Z51 setup.

These go for just under $3K new, but I'm looking to get rid of them quick since I have no use for them anymore. I'm asking $1500 OBO for the set. Depending on what kind of shipping buyer would want, we can discuss that once someone is interested. Comes with center caps and existing stems. No TPS.

I just spoke with Ryan Castro of DPE and he said he wouldn't see any issues whether or not you had the Z51 option or not. He said if anything you might just need to use the hideaway stems up front, but that it should work.

I already have half stems on the fronts from when I used them and those worked out just fine, so maybe those would be enough even with the Z51.

Either way, DPE doesn't see any reason they shouldn't work out just fine regardless.
