Default 275 run flats on a stock c5 z06 wheel

I purchased my car with pretty good tires on them, but im about to pick up some new wheels c5 z06. In z06 sizes 17x9.5 18x10.5.

I'd like to just transfer my tires from my thin spokes to the z06 wheels, is this possible? I'm thinking it shouldnt be an issue, but since the run flat sidewalls are so stiff, just curious if it'd be a stretching issue for a good bead.

Cliff notes: Will a 275 wide tire fit a 10.5inch wheel?

Yes... it is legal.

Per Goodyear:

Stock 245/45/17 can go on a 7" to 9-1/2" rim.
Stock 275/40/18 can go on a 9" to 11" rim.

Just sharing what I figured out while shopping for tires and rims. The Tire Rack is a great source for detailed info.

The tires may look a bit stretched on the wheels, as you are at the upper rim size limit. My C6 tires run on the upper end of the spec. and I think they look fine.
