Default Portable tire changer

Anyone ever try one of those portable tire changers? I found one that will handle 20 inch wheels, but I'm wondering if is a worthwhile purchase or if its just to dang hard to mount the stiff vette rubber.

I think that you'd have a really hard time doing modern, low profile rubber with a portable. I used to run an oval track car, and could hand mount/dismount tires like you couldn't believe....without a machine at all! But the sidewalls on race tires aren't all that stiff.
