Default Luke...Need Help on 305/30/19s

I have the CCW 505a's on my C5 and they came with Pirelli Pzero Rossos. I replaced the rears once already and found the tires to be ok. Question is: What tire options do I really have for the sizes below, I prefer to be as wide as I can. My research shows the following. Can you give me an opinion prior to ordering, as this time I need fronts and rears. I do track my car on road courses occasionally and am fairly aggressive on dry weather driving. I rarely see rain, but it is possible. Thanks

305/30/19 for rears
275/30/19 for fronts

Pirelli Pzero Rossos

or

Yokohama ADVAN Sport

or

Pilot Sport PS2 (does it matter that it says N1 Porsche)

Opinion on cost/benefit or anything else is appreciated.

Thought this pic might interest you

The tire on the right is the Pirelli P zero in a 305/30-19 on the left is a PS2 size 295/30-19 both on 19X11.5 inch rims from CCW. As you can see the PS2 is a bit wider and the 305/30-19 PS2 would be wider yet. I have the 305 PS2 on my CCW, 19X11.5, wheels and this is what they look like next to my stock 275/40-18 I took off.

The PS2's measure 13inchs from outside sidewall to outside sidewall. I guess what I am trying to say is all 305's are not the same.

Hope this helps till Luke jumps in,

Darion

Darion, that is very helpful. I love visuals. Question for you. How do the 305 Ps2's look on the car. My 305 Pzeros are exactly flush on the wheelwell and I didnt want to go wider. Seems like the 295's being wider might be a good fit if they are only slightly bigger but how do the 305's look? Thanks

Yup, mine stick out a bit. I would say maybe 3/4 of an inch, here's a pic or two,

Thing is, from any angle, aside from straight above the wheel/tire, you can't tell they stick out at all. I just got my wheels from CCW and they were more than happy to switch out the tires, and I would have gone with the PS2 295/30-19, but I can't really see any reason to do so. To my eye they give the car a great stance and the tire is very wide, I like it. Check this out, a few pics of my car on CCW website, Go to T10 wheel style under Corvette:

Anyway, I can see where ya are coming from and if a flush fit is what you are after maybe the 295 would be a better pick. One last thing, a friend of mine has the Bridgestone Re050a in the 305/30-19 rear and 275/35-18 front and they fit nice. I don't have any pics and I believe that you would need to go to a 285/30-19 on the front because they don't have a 275/30-19.

Well, take it easy,

The 2 best choices would be:
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Yokohama ADVAN Sport

the PS2 would be my first choice
