Default Is this right? 97 C5 coupe

I got some new wheels today (C5 ZO6 stile) and thay were forsale as stock sizes.
I asked what size thay are and was told 17x8.5 and 18x9.5. Thats what is on my car so I went for it.

The offset is not the same as what I think is stock. As I said thay were listed as stock sizes.

Will thare be any problems w/the offsets listed below?

17x8.5 +50 offset frount

18x9.5 +57 offset back

97 C5 Vette coupe

EDIT I want to ad I am just asking. I am happy w/ the wheels I just want to know how thay will fit/look.
Thanks for the input,

Paul G.

Those should work out fine. They are not the same offset as stock;

8.5"x17", offset=58mm, front; 9.5"x18", offset=65mm, rear --- 00-04 Thin/Thick 5-spoke wheels,

However they will move the wheel slightly out running more flush with the wheel opening at the top, which to my eye will look great. Use this calculator to get the amount it will move out

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Looks like it will be 8mm front and rear. Clearence on the inside of the wheel will actually improve so no fit issues. Put them on, see what they look like and take some pics so you can share.

Paul, I am sure you know this but just in case:

Have them replace the sensors in the same relative position on the car and they will not need retrained. No big deal if they do but saves some effort.

Hopefully they will have a good machine that won't damage your wheels.

The install went well. I forgot to tell them the car was lowered.
Thay had to jack it up one wheel at a time 3 hours lattor $34 to the dealer $10 tip to the instaler it was ready. I got to be by the car the whole time and even helped some. Not like most places that think you will just leave your car and pick it up lattor.

The wheels fit very good and the TPS work to.
Drove it up to 100+ on the way home and felt like new.

Thanks for all the input,

Paul G.
