Default Offset Issues

Ok if I have a car that normally has an offset of +42mm on an 18x8.5

Then what can I expect from a 18x8.5 +56mm

Will it REALLY be a noticable difference?

Jose, you are looking at approx. 1/2". I don't think it will REALLY make a difference all else being equal. I am ex Army also, helicopter mech in Vietnam.

You are going to move your wheel and tire approx. 1/2" inboard, toward the center of the car.

Jose, you mean the Army or the offset??

It depends on how your present tire and wheel combination fit. It won't hurt anything technically as long as you have inboard tire and rim clearance and the 1/2" inboard shoudln't hurt the appearance.

The Army, glad it did it, glad I am out. My daughter went into the Air Force, they know how to live!!
