I am looking into possibly getting a set of the LG Motorsports new C6 wheels, you can see the original link here (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...php?t=1534300). The LG wheels are pictured below on the blue C6. It looks in the pics at least, like the (rear especially) wheels and tires stick out a little to me, I'm hoping someone can prove/disprove this with math. I will also post up the specs and some pics for another set of wheels, the Ace "Z07" wheels, as they fit well and are a known quantity.
If my math is right, the rear LG wheels should fit almost identically to the Ace wheels (despite the appearance of "sticking out" in the pic), as the offset is only off 2mm, which would likely not be noticable to begin with, is this a correct assumption, is this as simple as that, or am I missing some variable? Does it only look that way due to the large tire?
On the fronts, with the LG wheel being 1/2" wider overall, and having +56mm offset (versus +53 for the Ace wheels), how much further in/out will the LG wheel sit than the Ace wheel does?
Thanks, Shawn
Here are the LG wheels, 18x10 +56 and 19x11 +73, 275/35/18s on front, 325/30/19s on the rear wheels.
Here are the Ace "Z07" wheels, 18x9.5 +53 and 19x11 +71, with 245/40/18s on front, 285/35/19s on the rear wheels.

Reason: Added pics...
I think the math is correct. The LGs are using Z06 skins w/o the wider rear fenders, which makes them look larger. If my math is correct, the LGs come right out to the edge of the stock C6 fender, but not over it.
Wish we could see a picture of the LGs from the back. I wonder if it looks funny w/o having the larger Z06 fender offset width
I thought you had ordered a set of CCW's. I guess you changed your mind.
Anyway, if I recall, the "Ace Slick" wheels are 18x9.5-inch fronts with a 57mm offset and 19x11-inch rears with a 64mm offset.
Compared to your data, the LG fronts are close (2mm off) but the rear wheels are 9mm different (73mm), so I would expect problems with running 325/30/19's on them. As John at CCW said to me, "they are right on the ragged edge." Be careful!
By the way, I went with the setup shown on your red C6 sample picture using CCW wheels...

*EDIT* OOPS!!! Just saw your post was old and brought back from the dead! Sorry!
