Default Best all around tires for C3?

Please share any insights on the best option(s) for my C3 with stock wheels. I currently have BF Goodrich 215/70R/15 M+S that are worn out. I just got the car in June and have no experience with what the options are.

Unfortunatley High performance tire and 15" dont go together.
You have BFGoodrich (radial TA), Dunlop (GT Qualifier) and Firestone Firehawk in 255/60 RWL and 245/60-15
Kumho (Road Venture) and Yokohama (Avid) also make a good tire that fits a C3.

Just for the record, my wife had a '79 C-3 until 1997, and the last set of tires we had on it was the Firestone Firehawk, 225/70/15.

There is quite a bit of traffic on this topic in the C3 tech & performance section that you should search, but in general there are no high pro tires in the 15" format. BFG with RWL in 245 60 15 seem to be the pick for stock rims IF you can find them. BFG will supposedly make another run of them this spring. I currently have 70 series tires on my car too and the shop I know for alignments says to go to 60 series tires for ride improvement. Costco has great prices if you have a store in your area. I just ordered a second set of stock wheels that should arrive next week then I plan on sand blasting my OEMs and ordering new set of 245 60 15 with RWL from Costco.

Enjoy your ride!

Actually, there are a couple of good high performance tire selections for the '68 thru '72 Corvettes in factory OE size of 215/70-15.
The Pirelli P4000 Super Touring and the Michelin Energy MXV4 are simply the best performing tires available for vintage Corvettes. These tires are Z rated with a W service rating, which is for extende speeds above 168 mph!
