Default Will 255/4019 and 285/30/20 work out???

Using a tire calculator looks like the front might stand .5 of an inch higher in overall diameter. I was set on the 255/35 but really can't afford to buy new at this time and I need something up front to match my Pirelli's in the rear. The 255's are mounting on a 9" rim while the 285's on a 10.5 Next year I will setup to a 265/305 set but for now I need to make due with what I have. So will the 5 series difference really matter, and will the naked eye notice it?
