try Mothers Mag & Aluminum wheel polish. I have seen it take stains out of lots of things. Just rub it in till it turns black and wipe off. It may take a few times on hard stains.

The last time spoke with the CCW gang, they were recommending "Blue Magic" wheel polish. I've used both it, and Mother's, with good results. (Used to use Simichrome years ago with excellent results, but it's gotten hard to find...)

Default Wheel cleaner

I lot of those spray on wheel cleaners are tough on polished wheels. I've always just used soap and water on the wheels, but of course use a completely different wash mit on them. I had/have 17x9.5 and 17x11 Fikse FM/5s on my 93 Z28, and some Armorall Quicksilver wheel cleaner beat them up real bad. Took a lot elbow grease to clean them up.

That is why it always says on the back of the bottle to test it on a small area first. But, of course, some of us don't and spray it all over all 4 wheels and then end up where I was at.

Has anyone had any problems using Wesley's Tire Bleach on tires with polished wheels. Not that you would spray the wheels, but any overspray from the tires could come in contact. Just got new CCw's myself and got worried as I read this thread.

I'm not sure, all I can tell you is I would only use what someone else already has. I spent about 4hrs/wheel polishing. If all else fails, test it on a very inconspicuous spot first.

John sent me the same and it works awesome! It takes off any areas that have a stain too. It is a bit more harsh then mothers, but cleans harder IMO. USe it on one of the mothers balls and it will come right off. Spin the crap out of it but move the ball so it does not make any swirls. Good luck man!
