Default Selective powdercoating?

I occasionally see one piece wheels that I really like, however I am trying to go for a gunmetal center with polished lip look. I was wondering if it was possible to take a polished wheel and just powdercoat the middle section and leave the lip polished? Or how about the other way around? Take a gunmetal powdercoated wheel and just have the lip polished?

Powder coating is as simple as painting...just mask off the areas you dont' want covered.

I think the only thing that you need to use is maybe some masking tape made for high temps. The powder coat has to be cure in an oven at around 350 degrees.
