Default Got my new wheels on..rear driver is ticking??

Dropped the car off yesterday at Discount Tire to have them put on my new wheels...iForged wheels.

Well the driver rear makes a ticking noise and gets worse the fast I go...(louder). Does any one have any idea what this could be? I'm taking it back to Discount tomorrow to have them look at it.

I looked for rubbing...don't see any. I'm just worried. Car seems to driv just fine. No vibration or any thing.

sorry don't mean to open a topic then pretty much answer my own question. Talk to Discount. They think if every thing is driving fine then it's just the air sensor inside that is making the noise. So that isn't so bad!!!

You sure a rock isn't stuck to the sticker adhesive or in a tire tread?

I once had a brake hose hitting one of the stick-on weights...or even a brake caliper.

If the sensor is making enough noise to be heard, it must have broken off inside the wheel.

Sounds like the wheels have a crack, or if they are two piece, something is loose.

Check the wheel weights!

I had new tires mounted and didn't drive it more than 100 yards before having them replace the weights with the type that stick on.

Even if you have to pay them remove the weight and take it for a ride to be sure, it will be worth it.

Swap the cap around and see if that's the issue.

Have a torq wrench? You might want to recheck them, or better yet, re-torq them. If they used an impact wrench, they might have over torqed the crap out of a lug.

I keep my wrench in my trunk and check my rims after a few miles evry time I chnge them (a few times a week). Good luck and I hope it is something small.
