I just bought a set of CCW 505A's. Could some of you folks that own them already give me some opinions on what you use to polish and seal.

I just bought SSR lightweight wheels for my C4 from tirerack, and I am hoping someone will post on a good polish or wax too.

Zaino is a lot of work as a polish , but that's what I'm going to use unless I see someone here post something they think is better.

the mothers alum polish works well.

I bought some polishing bits for the drill and have at it.

those are some killer wheels and easier to take care of than the original classics I bought

John at CCW gave me some Bush polish, when he put my new 505s on our new 07 coupe last week here in Daytona. That is what he uses. He also said to seal them with Rezex.

I use Adams products - he makes 2 metal polishes that really work - even on racing wheels!

Barb,
Aren't your SSRs clearcoated? Assuming they are, you need to treat them like you would paint - the CCWs are typically "raw" polished aluminum, and can handle (and need) a more aggressive polish.

Whatever you decide to use as your favorite metal polish, you can use a product called ZOOP'S SEAL to seal the aluminum pores of uncoated aluminum wheels. It's like a water proofing to keep them looking freshly polished. It isn't inexpensive, do an internet search under zoops.com

I just bought CCW SP16A wheels. Cleaned them with Klasse all in one, sealed with Poor Boys DP sealent and waxed them with Rejex. I was told I would have to do this routine every two or three months. I plan on using Mothers Billet Metal polish on them when they next need polishing, sealing and waxing with same stuff.
