Default best viper size shoes

I have a LPE ZR1 with the CCW 18 rims

I need 335/30/18 and 285 or 275/35/18 fronts

I have looked at

Toyo Proxy RA1s
Michelin Pilots
Kumho
BFG Comp RA1s
Nitto NT555

I am currently running the michelin pilot sport cups and like them very much but they only make a 345 or a 315. I ran into a bit of a strange problem on the c4, if the rear and front tire diameter differ too much you code the ABS and ASR at around 50 mph. I know this is the problem as when I switch back to other tire sizes the problem goes away and I was running 335s before.

Like to hear opinions on the best ultra dry handling car. I'm leaning towards the RA1s as I would like to try them. the kumho V700 looks good too but they don't make the 285 front so I'd have to go 305 which honestly might cause some rubbing at full lock.

thanks!!

would the f1 supercar tires have the same tread pattern and work for the front??? looking for a 285/35/18 or a 275 need the tire diameter fairly close to the rears to keep the ABS happy!! thanks.

BFG is supposed to have their KDW2 in 335/30/18 available at the end of August. It also comes in a matching 275/35/18

there kdw 2 in 335 is already out. its a beautiful tire but expensive. i couldnt find the 275 in kdw2 or thats what i would of gotten. also i just mounted the 18's in the front today its 275x40. stick with the 30 or 35 because mine rubs a little bit when i turn. i dont know what im going to do about that those tires were expensive.

heh? Hardly expensive considering the size and neither are available. 275s will be on the 8th and 335s are listed as backordered

the kdw2s look good and are WAY cheaper than the michelin pilot sports

I can use a 285 up front just fine.

I put in a request to see when the 335/30/18s will be available.

these look like they might get the not. the Toyo RA1s aren't available in anything bigger than 275 for up front.

I like the kumho's too but then again, they only have a 305 for up front which is a bit too big (but might work) I have 10.5 rims up front.

gonna keep an eye out, I have a few weeks before I need to pass inspection.

hahaha
I actually failed inspection for bald tires...been waiting too damn long for these KDWs
I'm going to callBFG this week to see an update from what I heard on Tech where someone says the 315s and 335s will be available by the end of August

If they won't be, then i'll squeeze some 295-35-18s GS-D3s on the 18x11s I plan on getting

anyone run 305/18/35s on a 10.5 rim. I know it should work. but I'm concerned about rubbing. some of my zr1 buddies have run as big as 315 on the front so it could work.

might be the way to go!!

Not that this helps much, but I know F-Body guys can fit 315s up front without problems....I'm sure a Vette would be the same if not better...Check out the autocross and roadracing section, i'm sure those guys run around with big shoes on all fours
