Default S.L. Competition wheels

In Corvette Magazine, there is an add for S.L.Competition wheels sold by G A Redcars out of Atlanta. Has anyone seen these wheels? How is the fit and finish on a c6? Only one picture on their web site www.GaRedcars.com Please post pictures if you have any. Thanks for your help.

Hi Gene

I don't have any info on those wheels you're asking about, but I did go by Complete Custom Wheels (CCW) today. If you have a nav, program in 526 Magnolia, Daytona Beach and cruise on down and take a look at their stuff.

I like that "Corsair" style like you see on that yellow C6 Z06 on their home page ( www.ccwheel.com ).

They're in your 'hood, so it's worth a look!

I went to CCW and talked with Chip and John, nice people. John took my wife and I on a tour of his plant. We ordered 505s in a 18x9.5 and 19x11. He is going to try and have them for this weekend. Hope to see you at the car show at the Harley dealer, third sat of every month.

Wow!!! I'll have to go see John to get my cut!

Man, those are gonna be beautiful on your car! What tires are you putting on them - the stock runflats?

The third Saturday of this month is the 19th, and I'm planning on going to a cruise-in in Orlando. You should join us for that event. Some of us are going to link up at the rest stop on I-4 (just prior to the 434 exit) for the drive down to a restaurant on I-Drive in Orlando. You can read about it in the thread link below.

There is another event going on Sunday 6 Aug. It's just a BBQ at a forum members house just south of Hwy 50 East in Orlando. Actually, I think we're also getting together Saturday night 5 Aug as well to pig out at at Texas de Brazil down on I-Drive in Orlando. See the link below.

BTW, these links are to the "Events" section of the forum. If you pull down that "Forums" menu at the top of the page, you can select "Events & Regional" then select "Southeast".

Here's the Sunday 6 Aug event link:

Here's the Saturday 19 Aug event link:

John said to use the stock run flats. When they wearout to use 265s on the front and 305s on the rear. Saw some 19x11s with 295s BFG kds and they looked great.
