First time ordering from them. I love the looks. I've heard many times that there customer service sucks. I was willing to accept that. Order wheels 6 weeks ago and still I have no REAL ETA on when I will have them.
Of 16 sets ordered, 3 cutomers have got there wheels on a gp. This really sucks!
Does any one here know why the heck they take so long?
OMG! That's when I placed my order too. Was your order part of the GP purchase with MTI?
Yes it is. I was just trying to keep vendor names out because I'm not trying to bad mouth a vendor on the site. I know they cannot control when a wheel is made but they sure the hell can try and return a call once and awhile and put my order IN WHEN I PLACED IT.
However being lied to is upsetting and doesn't give me any reason to continue business.
I placed my order under the same GP on May 2nd and my wheels still have not shipped. I'm keeping patient because I hear the wait is worth it, but..... Damn, I want my wheels!
I placed my order May 25th and I called iForged Friday and they said mine are shipping out this week.
Yea, I did the same thing 2 weeks ago....they said the same thing. I've had a tracking number since June 6th. It still says the same thing, "UPS has received shipper's billing information electronically. Billing information received does not indicate shipment pickup or drop-off. Please contact the shipper for more details"
Vincent at I-Forged told me that he has 3 wheels finished and ready to ship but one center hub did not pass their quality inspection. Apparantly they shipped the hub back to the powdercoater to have the center totally redone. I'm just hoping I get them soon, the suspense is killing me!
Talked to David the other day and only 4 sets of the 16 sets have shipped. It has been 8 weeks for my order and still nothing!
This is just
I agree....I pretty much sick of every time I call MTI this happens:
"Let me get your number and i will call them and see where they are at with them. I'll call you back."
Not ONE TIME have they ever called me back. Every single F'n time I have to call them back the next day and REMIND them the reason for my call.
Second thing that pisses me off. My order was sent from MTI to iForged almost 30 days after I paid for these wheels. And it's nto like I placed my order at the beginning of the GP. I placed it two days before the last day they accepted orders.
At this point I'm done calling them because if I do, I'm just going to blow up.

I just talked to iForged direct and my wheels are "still" in assembly
He said they should ship Friday. I asked when the order was received and he said June 5th. I placed the order with MTI May 25th.
I'm like you, can't call anymore, just pisses me off.

Too bad I don't frequent this section much, but I'm on the same boat in regards to their customer service. I was one of the GP as well and although I've had my wheels for about a month now. Problems have arise with these wheels. I don't get why iForged would be so bad at their customer service and on top of that the brand new wheels were not in specs and are not round.
I'm pretty much frustrated with this experience, to make a long story short. I got them mounted on 6/17 and right away I've noticed vibrations, called discount tire and said it was usual and they would eventually settle. Well, after a few hundred miles they did not settle. Next week went to have them fixed, they said wheels are not round. Then, I swap them again for the stocks and sent them to iForged for testing (or whatever they do). Got them back last Friday, but never heard anything from iForged (great customer feedback, huh). I emailed them and they said two front were out of spec.
I'm not sure what to expect once I get them installed again. I'm hoping they are fine now, but who knows. If I'd known this before I would've gone with another wheel maker. Sorry for the rant.

the wheel cannot be more then .02 or something like that off in the roundness of the wheel. If it is, you will experience vibrations. If it is....they shouldn't even ship the SOB.
