I got some Aeros last fall and ended up going without sensors. I had heard various stories about installing the sensors and it seemed that each way had some good success and bad success. The different ways I heard were to band them, epoxy them, or use 3M tape. None of them seemed 100% successful. Since I put C6 Goodyear runflats on, I wasn't too worried about running without the sensors. I just bought a good tire guage and check the pressure every once in a while. I've had no problems going without the sensors. Sometimes I'll get a message on the DIC about "service tire pressure system" and sometimes I won't. All you do is hit "reset" once and the message is gone. No big deal to me. For me, it was a much better alternative then going through the hassle of buying all the stuff to put the sensors on, only to wonder if they'll hold.
