Default Luke need a recomendation for a sticky tire

My 95A4 has 9.5" wide factory sawblades on all 4 corners because it came with ZO7 and the FX3 adjustable suspension.

Currently I am running Kuhmo 712's and very happy with them in the rain (it rains a LOT here) but they are way too slipery for hard driving on dry pavement.

I'm considering buying a second set of wheels for Summer and would like your recomendation on what would be considered sticky tires for dry weather runs in 275/40/17 size I put about 1,200 miles a month on my car year round as it's a daily driver.

Thanks for your recomendations.

I have a set of Kumho Ecsta MX tires on my 87 for (275/40-17) summer use. The Tire Rack reviews for this tire seem very positive and the dry grip values are very high http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Model=ECSTA+MX The cost at $139 is a great value for the money

My tires see a couple of track days each year and a few autocross events (although I do have race tires for most autocross events). They have very good grip on the track once they get some heat in them. For street use, they are excellent for "spirited driving"

While the treadwear rating is only 220, I expect them to last a long time. I drive my 87 about 1200-1500 miles per year. Just put the tires and wheels on today; they will stay on until sometiome in October.
