But comparing the spt to the MX, it looks like the principal difference is the blocks and patterns in the center of the tread
This could be a better rain tire than the MX (though I have never had a problem with my MX's in the rain)
Looks like it has the same compond and construction as the MX
I am ready for new shoes, but I think I will stay with the MX's, they are fantastic

I must agree, I was tempted when I looked at the prices, but when I looked at the UTOG wear ratings, it seems that this tire is not as sticky as the MX
Granted it costs less and will probably last longer, but I need to stick in the corners and wear isn't a great concern for me. I don't like to waste monery, but I like to spend it wisely.
I am going to stay with the MX
