Default Lug pattern, offset, what fits C5

I have searched time and time again for the right rim in my price. Wanting to try and stay around $2500 for 19"s is becomming impossible. I have read that the bolt pattern is 5X4.5 and read that this is equal to 5X120mm yet when I call my tire guy he informs me its not. I have found several sets of rims including HP HPR5 and ADR Battle Axe's in 19*8.5 and 19*9.5. This width is equal to our stock rims so they should be fine since I am not concerned with big traction or power at this point. What offset should I consider and if looking in mm what will work. My other choice is to find a set and see if the shop will dry fit them. Thanks for the help.

The bolt circle for the C5 is a 5x4.75. That’s what makes it hard to find wheels made by companies like ADR that will fit. In mm it converts to 5x120.65, which is not the same as 5x120. Some places will tell you that a 5x120 bolt circle will fit however the more reputable places like TireRack say they won’t. I don’t know if I’d want to risk it. It’s only .65mm but it could throw off how your bolts sit against the wheel, which could cause problems. As far as offset goes, your stock wheels are +56mm in the front and +65 in the rear. If your going to get wheels that are factory width you want to try and get the factory offset as well (these large offsets also make it hard to find wheels that will fit). Remember 25.4mm in an inch so if you get rear wheels with a +40 offset but the same wheel width as the factory, they will stick almost an inch (25mm) more than factory… so they will probably stick out past the fenders. Hope this helps!
