You'll get all you need to know.
I'm currently with Goodyear Eagles GS's 255/50/16"s on 8.5 x 16 Halibrands 5 spoke (like the TT II from ARE).

In most cases, running with anything larger than a 255 series will protrude outside the wheel well.
