Race Tires for C5

I currently am using Bf Goodrich T/A G Force R1 race tires. Original equipment sizes. I WANT MORE TRACTION. I race autocross. Should I get a different tire? Or should I get ZR1 rims and put a wider tire to the track.

Aren't the R1's the only autox tires in the stock rear C5 size? They have been discontinued, so you don't have much choice.

You'll want 17" tires all around to have the maximum choice of autox tires. Widths can vary depending on your tastes. 11" in back, 9.5" or 10" in front.
