Default Fix a flat issue

I have heard that once you use fix-a-flat in a flat tire, the tire can not be repaired and has to be replaced. Is this true and why?

while a tire that has been subjected to fix a flat can be repaired the sensor a C5 uses can not

It is a very messy proposition to work on a tire that has fix a flat in it ...

that's why we offer the Conti Comfort Kit which uses a latex based sealant that can easily be cleaned up
