Default I have the wrong tire size ont he front of my Z06 is it going to be an issue LUKE?

I bought an 01' Z06 3 weeks ago. I was too stupid to notice the front tires are the wrong size and the stealership won't help.

Fronts are 255/45/17 when they sould be 265/40/17

Rears ar the correct size 295/35/18
Rears are BRAND new and fronts have less than 1,000 miles on them and the are Pilot Sports. I really don't want to spend money on new fronts considering they are high end tires and work great anyway.

Is this gonna cause AH/TC issues or is it no big deal. I went to a calulator and it said the rears are still 0.3 larger than the fronts.

Anything to worry about here?

That's not going to cause any problems. Some Z06 owners run 275/40/17 up front w/o any issues. If the tires are that new I would just leave it alone.

Nope. You can even run 18s all around, and the AH will work fine. I have no issues with 19s all around. Relax and enjoy your new ride!

Waht about active handling. Doesnt it sense the speed of the rears in relation to the front. Are you surei am not cutting it too close??

the overall diameter is close enough to not effect anything but, that size WILL create more understeer
