16x8'' on c5, is it worth it??

do you think it would be worth it to use 2-16"x8" 5 star camaro rims 245/50/16 555r drag radials on the c5?? I can get those for a good price but a 245 will it be worth it? would i get a gain in traction? they are smaller but my runflats suck.. this would be just for the strip.

I would use the wheels, but I would look at MT ET street's for tires. I dont believe the 245 Nitto's would be enough. I run 315 Nitto drag radials on the street and have a set of 16x8's awaiting tires. Good luck.

does anyone know who makes a 16 for the c5 that fits as I would like to get rid of my 18 nittos for 16 m.t.?

http://www.ccwheel.com/files/home.php makes 16's for the C5. As for 245-50-16's, I'm not sure if it'd be worth it to put them on a C5. I'd pick up a set of 17's and use either 275's or 315's.
