Drag Radials OK for stock car?

As the title says, is it OK to mount DRs on a stock (i.e.- stingers, blackwing, hurst) car? Will the rear hold up to it? Lookin to possibly buy some this week for the CC coming up saturday.

Also, what's the preffered DR choice and size?
