Default Is this tire combo for 19/20's used by any here? C5 related

Tire sizes are 275/30 19 and 295/25 20. Man, i'm kinda pissed now. Chris at CG told me there wouldn't be but an 1/8 inch less difference in sidewall height compared to the 305/25 20's and it'd be hardly noticeable. I didn't think an 1/8 would be too bad too but seeing them on the car, it's getting to me too. The rears are like rubber bands and the fronts have more meat to them. The only good thing I can think about this is that the overall circumference of the tire would be equal to the fronts. It looks awkward.

those are not the correct sizes ... well the front is but the rear tire is two short ...

275/30-19 = 25.5"

295/25-20 = 25.8"

yeah I bet it does look awkward ... your front tire has more sidewall than your rear tire and your rear tire has more fender gap

if you used the correct rear tire size it would be 1" taller than the front. The would keep the sidewall deflection rates similar ..... find a new tire guy who knows what he's talking about

Do you have the right size available in a Michelin P/S A/S?

Take a look at my sig and tell me if it's really that bad or am I hurting anything performance wise. I know being 20's they're not good at all but I don't want to be screwing with handling or gas mileage or active handling or something else computer related. Thanks.
How would I get rid of these. I don't have a lot of money or an extra set of wheels to put on.

I don't understand what you're trying to tell me with the inches in height. Is there a certain height?

So, does Michelin not make a 305? I don't want to have to switch both my fronts and rears.

Sorry to butt in and be the bearer of bad news, but I run the 19/20s too and the only company that makes the 305/25-20 is Continental. They are tough to come by as well. You either have to:

A. run mismatched sizes for a bit until you need new
B. get a new pair of front or rears and have sizes right, but mismatched brands
C. find someone who needs a pair and has money
D. get all new tires

Wish I had a better suggestion. I'm not looking forward to having to get new ones either the 19" Contintentals are more money than the 20" ones.

I guess that's my only option for now is to keep them or buy some Conti's when I get the dough. Thanks!
