IMSA and Viper Racing League sterwards have banned HRE wheels in both series due to too many failures.

NINE, yes NINE failures in one race weekend Vipers.

Apparently the PCA is on their way to banning HRE's as well.

Very interesting. Too bad it will probably be nigh impossible to get enough info to see if there is a pattern here, i.e., a particular wheel design (or designs) that perhaps is too weak for competition, or whether these wheels were all newer or older (changed quality or deteriorated over time), etc.
